Mission Over Man is a performance-based training company focused on preparing law enforcement, military, and responsible citizens for high-risk, real-world environments through disciplined instruction, modern tactics, and proven training methodologies.

Founded by retired Sergeant and former SWAT Team Leader Christian DeVinney, Mission Over Man was built on the belief that preparation, accountability, and performance under pressure matter more than ego, titles, or theatrics. The company brings together instructors from specialized law enforcement units and military special operations backgrounds who have operated in high-risk environments and understand the importance of training that transfers beyond the training environment.

Our instructors include professionals with experience in:

  • SWAT & Tactical Operations

  • Federal & Multi-Agency Task Force

  • Protective Operations

  • Surveillance & Advanced Investigations

  • Operational Planning & Mission Preparation

  • Leadership Development

  • Military Special Operations

  • Low-Light & Night Operations

  • Firearms & Performance-Based Training

Beyond individual courses, Mission Over Man assists agencies with training program development, sustainment strategies, policy considerations, and other initiatives designed to improve long-term organizational capability.

Training Inquiry

Mission Over Man’s training philosophy emphasizes efficient learning, high repetitions, stress exposure, decision-making under pressure, and practical application. Courses are designed to challenge students while remaining mission-focused, professional, and adaptable to the needs of the agency or unit attending.

We believe training should not simply check a box — it should build confidence, competence, and performance when it matters most.

We provide instruction in firearms, tactical operations, surveillance, protective operations, vehicle interdiction, low-light/night operations, medical considerations, and leadership development. Courses can be tailored for patrol, specialized units, command staff objectives, and agency-specific operational needs.
